A visa fee changes, a stay length is cut, a holiday is announced late, and an article that was correct in January is quietly wrong by June. Most travel sites never revisit the page. We have built the desk around that problem.

Where our facts come from

In order of preference:

The destination’s own government. Ministries of foreign affairs, immigration authorities, official visa portals, embassies accredited to the UAE.

The traveller’s own government. For UAE residents, the official UAE government portal and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Established news outlets and immigration law firms, and only where a primary source is unavailable, with the date of the report stated.

Aggregator sites, travel blogs and agency marketing pages are not sources. A large number of the “visa-free countries” lists circulating online repeat each other without any of them checking, which is how the same errors survive for years.

The verification date

Every article carries a Last verified date in the header. That is not the publication date and it is not an automatic timestamp. It is the date a person last checked the facts in that article against their sources.

What we do when we cannot verify something

We leave it out, and we tell you we left it out.

Examples from articles currently on this site: we do not publish a Saudi eVisa fee, because we could not confirm the current figure from an official portal. We do not publish per-nationality day counts for Thailand’s 2026 visa changes, because the official release named only some countries. We do not publish 2027 Eid dates as fact, because the UAE Cabinet has not announced them and Islamic dates depend on moon sighting.

A shorter article that is correct is worth more to you than a complete one that is confidently wrong at the boarding gate.

Nationality versus residency

The single most common error in this category is treating a UAE residence visa as if it were a passport. Entry rules almost always follow the passport you hold. Where a country genuinely runs a residency-based scheme, we name it and state the conditions. Where it does not, we say so plainly, even when the popular articles say otherwise.

Who writes this

The HudHudTrip Travel Desk is the editorial team of HudHudTrip.com, operated by High Cloud Technologies LLC, Dubai. We are a booking platform, and we have a commercial interest in you travelling. That is exactly why the accuracy standard above exists in writing: an article that sends you to an airport you cannot leave costs us your trust, which is worth more than one booking.

Corrections

If you find something on this site that is wrong or out of date, write to support@hudhudtrip.com with the page and the source. We will correct it and update the verification date.

What this page is not

Nothing on this site is immigration advice. Visa decisions are made by governments, not by us, and rules change without notice. Always confirm with the relevant embassy or official portal before you book and before you fly.

Our sources, our verification dates, and what we do when a fact cannot be confirmed.
